Etihad Airways has started 2024 by expanding its services to India with daily non-stop flights from Abu Dhabi to Kozhikode and Thiruvananthapuram in the Kerala region. This initiative marks Etihad’s commitment to enhancing accessibility for its global network, bringing the total number of Indian gateways served to 10. Antonoaldo Neves, Etihad CEO, highlighted the strategic non-stop routes, facilitating seamless connections for travelers between India and Abu Dhabi. The increased accessibility aims to boost tourism to Kerala’s picturesque landscapes and beaches while providing smoother travel for professionals visiting key business hubs. In 2023, Etihad reintroduced services to Kolkata and enhanced flight frequencies to Mumbai and Delhi, underscoring the airline’s dedication to strengthening its presence in the Indian market.
