In April, Air India Express is gearing up to launch direct flights from Kolkata to Imphal and Kochi, announced an airline spokesperson. The subsidiary of Air India will offer daily flights to Imphal and six flights a week to Kochi. Departing Kolkata at 7 am, the Imphal-bound flight is scheduled to touch down in the Manipur capital at 8.05 am. The return journey will commence at 8.35 am, arriving back in Kolkata at 10.20 am. Meanwhile, the Kolkata-Kochi service will take off at 11.25 am, landing in Kochi at 2.35 pm. The return leg is set to depart Kochi at 3.05 pm, with an estimated arrival in Kolkata at 6.10 pm.
