Renowned for its significant contributions to the Dhrupad singing style and the classical music Gwalior gharana, the city is celebrated for its dedication to cultural richness and innovative urban planning. Notably, Gwalior hosts the Tansen Sangeet Samaroh, a prominent music festival in India.
