Maldives-based airline, Manta Air, is set to launch direct flights between Bengaluru and Dhaalu Airport in January 2024, cutting down travel hassles and costs for visitors. The announcement was made at a prestigious event in Bengaluru. The airline aims to redefine the India-Maldives travel experience by providing direct flights from Kempegowda International Airport to Dhaalu Airport, offering easy access to luxury resorts in Dhaalu Atoll without the need for transit through Velana International Airport at Male. Manta Air’s strategic move caters to Indian tourists, enhancing their travel experience and boosting bookings for resorts in Dhaalu Atoll. The flights are scheduled to commence in January 2024, signalling the airline’s expansion into international operations.
