Air India’s subsidiary Air Alliance just launched its first direct flights from Chennai to the northern city of Sri Lanka, Jaffna. Now flyers can reach Sri Lanka in an hour.
Ushering in a new era of connectivity, Air Alliance recently operated its first flight from Chennai to Jaffna, Sri Lanka at 8:45 am from the Chennai International Airport. With a travel time of less than one hour, the flight received the traditional water salute as it touched down on Jaffna.
Alliance Air, a subsidiary of Air India is the first international airline to land in the newly inaugurated Jaffna International Airport.
