Arkia Airlines has launched daily flights from Tel Aviv to Colombo, aimed at boosting passenger connectivity and fostering tourism and bilateral relations between Israel and Sri Lanka. The airline will operate an Airbus A321 Neo with a seating capacity of 210. The inaugural flight was celebrated at a reception hosted by Mahen Kariyawasan, Regional Director of Arkia Airlines, in the presence of Hon. Miri Rage, Minister of Transport & Road Safety of the State of Israel, and His Excellency Naor Gilon, Ambassador of The State of Israel. This new service is expected to facilitate smoother travel between the two countries while promoting cultural and economic exchanges.
