To ensure safety of the passengers and success of the biennial Bengaluru air show, the Kempegowda International Airport will be partially closed for commercial flight operations during the days of practice and the main show.
Aero space exhibition Aero India 2019 will be held in Bengaluru from February 20 to Feb 24. Bangalore’s international airport will support the prestigious event that provides a platform for aerospace companies to showcase their products and services during the show at the Yelahanka Air Force Station in Bengaluru.
Bangalore International Airport Limited (BIAL) is working with airlines offering scheduled aircraft operations that will be impacted during this period, to ensure minimal disruption to existing schedules during the reduced operating hours.
Passenger convenience will be ensured with the respective airlines sharing timely communication on the change in airport operations and the cancelled/revised flight timings during the 2019 Aero India show.
