The High Commission of India in Canada declared the reinstatement of electronic visa (eVisa) services for eligible Canadian citizens after a nearly two-month hiatus. The announcement specified that the eVisa facility is accessible to individuals holding regular/ordinary Canadian passports. However, those with other categories of Canadian passports are required to apply for a standard paper visa. This move follows last month’s restoration of visa services in specific categories such as entry, business, medical, and conference visas. The development aims to facilitate smoother visa processes and enhance diplomatic ties between the two nations.
