Boutique hotelier The Park Hotels has launched its latest property in the Indian city of dreams, Mumbai.
Located opposite Asia’s first Soho House on Juhu Tara Road, close to Juhu Beach, the hotel has been called a cool retreat in an urban hub.
A charcoal facade by architect Sanjay Puri is punctuated by burnt orange and fuschia windows that reflect the local sunsets. The hotel’s exteriors are completed by interiors designed by Ong & Ong from Singapore.
The 60-room design hotel has six categories of rooms; with views of either the Arabian Sea or city while some overlook the historic Juhu airfield. The rooms and studio suites have been designed with a monochromatic colour palette; room rates start from £185 per night.
Meishi is an Asian-inspired all day dining fusion restaurant – Japanese, Thai, Chinese, Indian. The Saffron Room, a 2500 sq. ft. banqueting space on the first floor, is intended for social events and corporate meetings and as such has two different types of lighting.
