An ecotourism hub is being developed in Noida, featuring a wetland, herbal garden and a biodiversity park.
On the verge of completion, this park in Sector 91 covers a huge area of 146 acres and is 1.5 times bigger than the famous Lodhi Garden in Delhi. After its inauguration, the park will become the biggest green zone in the whole of Delhi-NCR.
As of now, the herbal garden (24 ac) and city forest (35 ac) are already completed, while the work on biodiversity park (75 ac) is still in progress and will get over soon. Right now, the work of planting 8000 trees is going on in the garden.
In addition, the Noida authority is working hard to complete the revival of the wetland before monsoon hits the city. It is expected that the work would see completion by the end of the May or beginning of June. Besides, experts are hoping to witness 15 species of birds during this winter season.
