Masque, led by Aditi Dugar and head chef Varun Totlani, was hailed as India’s best restaurant for 2023 and 2024 by Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants. The World’s 50 Best praised Masque as “arguably India’s most forward-thinking restaurant,” known for its 10-course tasting menu highlighting local ingredients in a stylish setting. Indian Accent, helmed by Chef Manish Mehrotra, had been India’s top restaurant for seven years. The World’s 50 Best described it as a place that “continues to raise the bar of Indian contemporary cuisine,” with inventive tasting menus that offer unique takes on Indian classics.
