Retired technocrat Ashwani Lohani will head the cash-strapped national carrier Air India as chairman and managing director for a second time within two years.
The Cabinet committee on appointments cleared Lohani’s re-induction on a contract basis for a one-year tenure and he will assume office Thursday.
