Delhi’s history finally gets lit up

This year, you will finally get to take in the beauty of most of Delhi’s major monuments framed against the night sky.

After lighting up Purana Qila, Red Fort and Humayun’s Tomb last year, now the Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) is planning to illuminate Qutub Minar and Safdarjung Tomb as well and open them for night viewing.

ASI officials say that the work in the Qutub complex will be completed by mid-May.
