The Indri Diwali Collector’s Edition 2023, a ‘Made in India’ whisky, has achieved the prestigious title of the world’s best whisky brand, awarded by Whiskies of the World. This honour is in the form of the esteemed “Double Gold Best In Show” accolade, highlighting its excellence in the world of whisky. This Indian single malt, crafted by Piccadilly Distilleries in Haryana, outshone over 100 whisky varieties worldwide in a blind-tasting competition. It is a peated whisky known for its smoky flavour resulting from peat fires used in drying malted barley, with the intensity of the flavour depending on the peat smoke’s length and strength.
