India has a new luxury hotel brand, and it opened 3 properties in Goa in a day!

Hotelier Kapil Chopra has launched The Postcard Hotel, a chain of intimate, experiential properties, which he says will upend many of the rules of the game.

For starters, The Postcard Hotel has launched with not one but three fully-ready properties in Goa. Over the next five years, the chain is set to have 50 hotels—many of these fully owned.

Next, it has reset some of the default settings of the standard hotel experience – with a round-the-clock check-in and check-out; local welcome drinks and cocktails as opposed to canned juices; breakfast available around the clock, with homegrown staples;

Additionally, there will be no loyalty programme. Instead, 5% of the bill will be credited to your account at check-out, to be redeemed against your next stay or meal at a Postcard Hotel.
