Indian Railways recently unveiled “Him Darshan Express” – a seven coach glass-enclosed vistadome train from Kalka railway station to the hill station of Shimla in Himachal Pradesh.
With a seating capacity of over 100 passengers, the train is set to commute between the Kalka and Shimla stations till December 24, 2020.
Commuters travelling on the Him Darshan Express will get to enjoy scenic views of the Himalayas through the swanky Vistadome AC coaches with glass roof. This is a first-of-its-kind train on the Kalka-Shimla route.
