Uttarakhand, described by many as “Land of the Gods”, might soon come up with a special policy to boost and promote the ‘spiritual eco-zones’ in the state.
To put this plan into action, the state government has begun identifying locations to set up such zones. The move is expected to create a special ecosystem for yoga, panchakarma and ayurvedic practices in the region.
Additionally, the two-day Uttarakhand Wellness Summit 2020 is set to be held in April in Dehradun to promote the region as a wellness destination.
