The LBS International Airport in Varanasi will soon be operational 24-hours.
In view of the rising demand for more flights operating out of the city, as well as night parking facilities by some airlines, the airport is now set to remain open all night long. The number of air passengers from the Varanasi airport has gone up to 21 lakhs per year, up from eight lakhs recorded in 2013-14.
